Man With A Tan Jacket follows Otis Johnson, a man that was wrongfully convicted for 44 years for a crime he did not commit.

During this time in prison, he obtained 2 college degrees, and started a non-profit organization called HEFT which he continues to this day.

Upon his release in 2014, he faced a strange new world and a loss of connection with his family. Yet, he still stays resilient and active.

Our film aims to clear his name and reconnect him with his family.

An Update on our Family explores the controversy surrounding Youtube vloggers Myka and Jeames Stauffer, who showcased the adoption of their son, Huxley, only to later give him away.

My role on this project was to download and maintain a spreadsheet of archival footage so that editors could easily find footage and producers could easily get the rights to it.

Stax: Soulsville U.S.A (2024)

Stax: Soulsville U.S.A. is a 4 episode docuseries about the rise and fall of Stax Records, a soul label from the 60’s and 70’s. Some of their famous artists and musicians include Otis Redding, Carla Thomas, Rufus Thomas, Isaac Hayes, Steve Cropper, and Booker T. Jones:

The series went on to win the TV Premiere Audience Award at South By Southwest, as well as the Peabody Documentary award.

On this project, I helped create an organizational sytstem to categorize all archival footage in the project, so that editors could have easy access to everything.

Super League: The War For Football (2023)

Super League: The War For Football is a 4 episode docuseries that chronicles the emergence of a football league called the Super League that breaks away from the well-established UEFA.

The series went on to win the Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Documentary Series.

My role on this project was to create verite B-Roll stringouts based on shoot location that were organized by subject.

One With The Whale (2023)

One With The Whale is about Chris Appasingok, a whale hunter of St. Lawrence, Alaska, where hunting whales is a necessity for survival. One day, his mother proudly posts a picture of him after a whale hunt on Facebook. But, to their surprise, they receive hundreds of hate messages from activists.

My role on this project was to manually convert exported cuts into editable sequences
